BrixStone Signature Apple Pie


  • 6 BrixStone apples, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
  • 1 double-crust pie pastry (store-bought or homemade)


  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the sliced BrixStone apples, granulated sugar, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and lemon juice. Toss until the apples are evenly coated.
  • Roll out half of the pie pastry and line a 9-inch pie dish with it. Trim any excess pastry hanging over the edge.
