Summer grilling season is here, and there's nothing better than a juicy grilled pork chop glazed with BrixStone Farms’ maple syrup and fresh apples. This Maple Apple Glazed Grilled Pork Chop recipe is the perfect summer entrée.
Ingredients:
- 4 bone-in pork chops
- 1 large BrixStone Farms’ apple, grated or finely chopped
- 1/4 cup BrixStone Farms’ maple syrup
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp fresh thyme (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- In a small saucepan, combine the grated apple, maple syrup, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, olive oil, and thyme. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for about 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Season the pork chops with salt and pepper, then place them on the grill. Cook for 4-5 minutes per side, until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- During the last few minutes of grilling, brush the maple apple glaze over the pork chops, allowing it to caramelize slightly.
- Serve the pork chops with grilled vegetables or a summer corn salad for a complete meal.

- Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream for a quintessential fall dessert.
Winter: Maple Apple Butter
Winter is the season for slow cooking and comforting spreads, and our Maple Apple Butter is perfect for those chilly mornings. Spread it on toast, muffins, or pancakes for a sweet start to your day.

- Use an immersion blender or transfer the apple mixture to a regular blender to puree until smooth.
- Return the mixture to the pot and cook over low heat, stirring frequently, for another 30-40 minutes, until the apple butter thickens to a spreadable consistency.
- Let the apple butter cool, then transfer to jars or airtight containers.
